About Runaway Boys

Runaway Boys was the band that The Living End guitarist, Chris Cheney, and bassist, Scott Owen, formed in the early 1990s. The band played covers of 50's rock and rockabilly bands, such as the Stray Cats. The name of the band came from the Stray Cats song "Runaway Boys". The two were obsessed with the Stray Cats at the time. It later evolved into The Living End in 1994 after the original drummer Joe Piripitzi joined Cheney and Owen. The band recorded only a few songs
