About Rumi Ensemble
The year 2007 was the Eight hundredth birth anniversary of the great Persian sufi poet Mawlana Jalalad-Din Mohammed Balkhi (Rumi). UNESCO dedicated this year to him to commemorate this brilliant poet. Today his poetry inspires people all around the world. Javid Afsari Rad (Iranian/Norwegian musician) brings Rumi´s thoughts and words into a musical meeting among first rate musicians from Iran and a brilliant string quintet from Norway. With the Strings
