About Roots Radics
1. Formed in 1978 by Flabba Holt (bass) and Eric "Bingy Bunny" Lamont (Guitar), the Roots Radics are an all star house band that has backed some of Reggae's most prominent artists. Recording with producers like Scientist, King Tubby, and Junjo Lawes, the Roots Radics provided the majority of rhythm tracks and melodies for the then burgeoning genre of Dancehall Reggae. Most recently they were the touring band for Israel Vibration.
