Rónán Ó Snodaigh (born 1 January 1970 in Dublin, Ireland) is a musician, poet found member and lead vocalist in the musical group Kíla. He is considered to have revolutionised the playing of the Bodhrán and has released many solo albums. Being brought up in an Irish-speaking home, his first musical love, was and is, the Irish hand drum, the bodhrán. As a bodhrán player on the streets of Dublin, he became part of a new-wave of Irish musicians whose roots originate among Dublin's busking culture.
