
About Ronald Douglas
Ronald Douglas (The Hague, April 25th 1960 - Present) is a Dutch jazz singer and teacher / vocal coach at the ArtEZ Music Conservatory in Zwolle in the Netherlands. In 2006 he won the international Jazzconnect Jazz vocal Competition as the first European singer. He has worked with fellow jazz artists Ferdinand Povel (sax), Ack van Rooijen (trumpet), Rob van Bavel (piano), Herman Schoonderwalt (sax-clarinet), John Engels (drums), The Metropole Orchestra, The Skymasters and in 2013, the world's longest existing jazz band, The Ramblers.
