Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles is a post-rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Their name is taken from a 2005 Chinese film by the same name. Their songs are all instrumental with the only vocals coming from various field recordings and samples. They are an eleven-piece band that consists of 5 guitars, bass, drums, violin, cello, piano, bells and a harp. Their musical compositions are usually experimental and change drastically in style over the course of each song.
