
About Ricky Ross
Ricky Ross is the founder and lead singer of Scottish rock/pop group Deacon Blue. He formed the group in 1985 and they were soon after signed to CBS records. Deacon Blue have to date released five studio albums plus six compilation albums. After splitting up in 1994 they re-formed in 1999 and have since released new material and continue to tour when band members commitments allow. Ricky Ross released his first solo record 'So Long Ago' in 1984 on Scottish independent label Sticky Music.
