Richie Woods is the recording project of Michael Todd Berland (of the duo Fox Academy) based in Portland Oregon. Richie's songs tap into a world that is tragically romantic, dreamy and bizarre--at times filled with humor and satire. The eclectic sounds exhibit inspiration from the disparate places Richie has ties to via friends or family: Hawaii, New York, and Portland.
