About Reubens Cane
Cut from the underbelly of Coventry's ever burgeoning music scene, Reubens Cane are a heady mix of musical influences ranging from The Band to Supergrass, 10cc to Joy Division and much more. Their sound has been described as a mix between Squeeze and Costello with lashings of the Guillemots so it's safe to say there's lots going on. Formed in 2009 the band is a menagerie of musical refugees from various locally successful bands, who came together under the proviso that they played what they wanted to and with passion.
