About Renaud Papillon Paravel
Renaud Paravel is primarily a graphic artist and cartoonist. His relationship with culture is pretty unique : he only read three books in his whole life. And the word "singer" does not really suits him, it is rather a "teller". His musical arrangements are often call the collage, the samples, mixing sounds electronic acoustic sounds. All styles are mixed: electronica samples, rhythmic funk, rap, trip-hop, Foley concrete. His texts, read, recited, or chanted, put this artist in line with the "Gainsbourian singers" (Serge Gainsbourg).
