About Renato Cesari
Renato Cesari was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1916 and died in Lecco (Italy) on June 18, 1992. He was an Argentine baritone with a long career and performance at the Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires). Of Italian parents, he studied singing with his father, Virginio Cesari, a former singer who inaugurated the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires in 1908. Endowed with a not too important voice, he knew how to get the most out of it with his natural intelligence.
