About Red Abbott
Red Abbott are three multi-instrumentalists who create electronic indie rock via e-mail from their homes in New York City, Providence, R.I. and Portland, Maine. The band consists of Bert Brown (beats, vocals, synth, programming, samples, bass), Chip Means (guitar, vocals, keyboard, bass, flute, percussion) and Joe Madera (bass, vocals, keyboard, guitar, percussion). The band performs live with Shawn Hildonen, formerly of Boston-based band Radka, on drums.
