real friend was formed in 2022 by Kyle Pierce (guitar and vocals), Noah Gall (bass and vocals), and Ayden Hamilton (drums). The following is an excerpt written by them about their debut album: We started writing Squamata almost immediately after the release of our debut EP Standard Issue. Our whiteboard was never the same; almost an oil man quality, so vigorous and persistent that the multitude of outpouring from each of us was nearly too much to conjure up.
