After playing in various metal bands over the years, Doug ,Jack, Ryan,and Chris wanted to do something different. All four guys are insane Horror/Sci-Fi/Giant Monster/independent movie junkies, and Ginormous Misfits fans. So the logical choice was to play some horrorpunk. After getting back in their rocket ship, and leaving the Angry Red Planet, they started jamming some Misfits covers once returning to Earth... and Ratbatspider was born.
