About Rainhat
Rainhat is the name of Swedish musician Sami Ylinen's one man indie project that got started in 2009. Born in Sundsvall, Sweden, Sami attended the local music school from age 10 and later went on to study music and performance at the Malmö Academy of Music, graduating with a Masters degree. The music he writes is a mellow guitar-based blend of pop, folk, and jazz, and one might hear influences from bands like Eels, Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie and Barenaked Ladies.
