"Raffaela" incorrectly redirects here; Raffaela was an italo disco singer in the 80's. Raffaëla (birthname: Raffaëla Paton) is the winner of the Dutch version of American Idol ('Idols') season 3. Raffaëla was controversial since the start of the show, since she stated to be in love with judge Henk-Jan Smits. In a later show she reavealed it was a joke and 'Idols' didn't show the footage of her saying so. At the liveshows, she revealed to be pregnant, which infuriated judge Henk-Jan.
