Rafael Coloma was a 16th Century Catalan composer and maestro de capilla. There is very little information about the origin of Coloma. On August 14, 1586, he replaced maestro Joan Brudieu in the magisterium of the music chapel of the Cathedral of Seo de Urgel, a teacher who had retired on May 6. He got the position in competition with Pere Peruga, who at that time was master of the basilica chapel of Santa María del Mar in Barcelona and would later occupy the teaching of the Cathedral of Tarragona briefly in 1587.
