There are two bands who go by the name Radiostar, a Scandinavian jazz band and an indie band based out of new york. A new sound in Scandinavian jazz . Radiostars debut album “it cannot bleed” is a mix of Americana, nordic-jazz and blues. Bandleader, composer, songwriter and sax-player Michael Blicher has always loved and been influenced by great songwriters. Inspired by Tom Waits, Neil Young, John Lennon and Wayne Shorter, Radiostar is all about playing great songs, acoustic soulfull sound and a great love for the saxophone.
