About Rabbits Wedding
Indie, Pop band, Rabbits Wedding hailed from Perth, Western Australia. School friends Richard V Shallcross and Paul Watling formed the group in 1984 adding Matthew Hall on Bass and Philip Rawlinson on Drums. In search of greener pastures, the band shifted operations across the continent to Sydney where their debut single Rideout was released in 1986 on the startup Distant Violins label. Their following records, all released on the famed Australian indie label - Waterfront Records - included the lauded Mini Albums
