About Happydeadmen
Happydeadmen was formed in 1988, when the Swedish indie scene was mostly punk or goth rock. Their melodic pop approach looked ahead to 90s Swedish indiepop, which brought bands like the Cardigans. Jan Hedin: vocals, acoustic guitar Magnus Karlsson: electric guitar Roger Kjellgren: bass Thomas Kristoffersson: drums Patrik Jonsfjord: electric guitar (1994-97) Readers of the pop magazine Sound Effects voted the single Silent Sigh City the second best Swedish single of 1989.
