About Purple
There are many artists with the name Purple: 1. An electronic artist Luis Dourado from Portugal. He was first introduced to the scene through Terrain Ahead, an electronic collective/label he founded with other Portugal artists IVVVO and Trikk. He self released his debut record Violence in 2011. It gained interest from many people in the music sphere, including Los Angeles producer Shlohmo. After a few initial conversations, Purple became an official member of Shlohmo’s Los Angeles crew/label WeDidIt
