Pt. Ganesh Vidyalankar is not only a Sanskrit scholar but also a musicologist. He did his B.A. in Sanskrit from the Gurukul Kangri Vishvavidyalaya, Haridwar. He then shifted to Delhi for further studies and did his M.A. in both Hindi and Sanskrit from Delhi University. Still not satisfied, he enrolled for M. Phil in Sanskrit from Delhi University.
