Protea is Serena Toxicat's thorny, sharp-clawed, 21st century brainchild. She recommends that you enjoy a tincture of this mysterious flower in a cozy dungeon with a crystal divinatory pendulum and a cup of catnip tea. This intensely personal, dark experimental project has grown to include a small constellation of guest musicians in the electronic idiom, including John Nelson, tara ntula and cats, Jamahl Tulloch and his kitty Myrrh, thereminist Joseph Max, ARP drone artist Matt Azevedo, and of course Toxicat's divine felines.
