Proper Johnson (aka Funktioneers) is a funk/soul band made up of 8 musicians from Bergen, Norway. These skilled musicians find their inspiration in the blaxploitation-soundtracks of the seventies and have been working together with musicians from London and L.A. The band has also founded the record label Beats Before Bars.
