About Project 549
Project 549 is the collaboration of Scott McAndrew and Randy Schnier, two musicians from Madison, Wisconsin and Rochester, Minnesota in the United States. The band's name is a somewhat humorous commentary on the plethora of bands that have "project" in their name. The style of Project 549 is instrumental recordings of popular Christmas songs, played on a wide variety of instruments including synthesizers, acoustic and electric guitars, acoustic and electronic percussion, and various other toys.
