About Pripjat

Pripjat, founded in 2011, is a thrash metal band from Cologne (NRW), Germany. Two Band Members (Kirill and Eugene) actually come from Kiev, Ukraine. That explains the Band Name (Pripjat is the ghost town near to the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant). „WE ARE PRIPJAT – AND WE PLAY THRASH METAL!” If you have not heard this sentence before, you missed out on a band that has shaken up the German underground in the last couple of years unlike any other thrash-combo.
