About Postcards
There are several bands named Postcards: 1.) Postcards is a dream pop trio formed in 2012 in Beirut, Lebanon. The band is known for their signature sound mixing shoegaze/dream pop soundscapes with post-punk and noise, evoking the paradox of life in Beirut. Paired with Sabra’s hushed, velvety voice and poignant lyrics tackling feelings of alienation, anger and despair, especially as a young woman, Postcards’ songs speak for a post-war generation trying to understand their place in the world.
