Inspired both by Nordic and Sámi culture in Northern Scandinavia, the Polar Shaman travels through four countries worth of mycelium to bring forth the spirits of Ulda folk, and the result is this mesmerizing album of feverish folk, neofolk and ambient with bursts of psychedelia that will possess you and take you on a journey through time and alternate realities.
