Plus Ganzwind are part of a small but vivid and young indie-scene originating from Straubing/Southern Germany. Their influences are mainly Thrill Jockey artists like Tortoise, Jim O´Rourke, The Sea And Cake and also Yo La Tengo. In 2001, after a short appearance at "Swampland Sessions", a series of in-recordstore concerts in Regensburg, organized by Archie Müller and Isolde von Reusner, who later founded the label Schinderwies Productions, Manfred Adler
