Drummer Pip Pyle (April 4, 1950-August 28, 2006) is a Canterbury drummer, known from bands such as Gong, Hatfield and the North, Soft Heap and National Health. He was born April 4, 1950 in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England. Hatfield and the North reunited in 2005 and toured up until Pyle's death in the late summer 2006.
