About Pietro Paolo Paciotto
Pietro Paolo Paciotto (*1550 in Tivoli (near Rome), †after 1614 in Rome or Tivoli) was a composer. In 1582 Paciotto worked in Melfi (Basilicata) in an unspecified function. In 1585 he succeeded F. Anerio as magister cantorum et capellae at the Collegio Inglese in Rome, and from 1589 to before 1601 he held the same post at the Seminario Romano. Finally, between 1611 and 1614, he was vicemaestro di cappella at Tivoli Cathedral.
