About Phuneral
According to some, the first Black Metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Started at the end of 1984 by Gilson Zumbi and Marcelo Tumor, both guitar players. Then Jorge Abominável on the bass and Gilson Bruxo (vocals) joined the band, and finally Fabio Cadáver on the drums. They did many shows in Rio area in places like Caverna II, Circo Voador, Metrópolis, Crepúsculo de Cubatão, until 1986.
