There is more than one artist with this name. a) Phono (Pop rock, new wave): Phono is a Chilean band, formed by Ricardo Callealta (bass/vocals), Freddy Benavente (guitar/backing vocals), Gabriel Donoso (guitar) and Mauricio Martínez (drums). In 2004 they recorded they first indie EP, Florecer. The same year they signed with EMI Odeon and released their first homonym album, in may. Their first single "Florecer" was a hit in local radios stations, and gave them a nomination for the APES awards as Best Young Band.
