About Phoenix Effect
Phoenix Effect is a finnish rock band formed in Helsinki, Finland in 2007 by the former guitarist of Sunrise Avenue, Janne Kärkkäinen. The band is signed to Poets of the Fall's label, Insomniac, through which they released two albums (Cyanide Skies, 2009 and Phoenix Effect, 2010) and one EP (A Light to Guide, 2010) to date. POTF's Markus Captain Kaarlonen co-produced the debut album and POTF musicians took part in the recording of some songs from it (for example, Marko Saaresto in Lucky Star and King See No Evil).
