Phil is English. His early influences include U2, Nirvana, Lemonheads, Radiohead, and Tom Waits. He uses these words to describe his music: Self-styled, empowering, and thought-provoking. His first contribution to recorded music was a solo acoustic EP called "The Atlantic Project" in 2000. Phil has been booked extensively throughout Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States, performing to crowds in excess of 24,000 in venues such as: The Viper Room – Los Angeles, California
