After hearing the Dub side of the Clash, the Nashville duo Joshua Elrod (drums) and Craig Allen (bass) were influenced to take their punk roots into the instrumental depths of reggae. With large amounts of reverb, delay, and phasing, their debut LP, Disassemble Dub, takes the traditional roots sound into the present with quality production and deep electronic grooves. "A Phase Selector soundtrack begins with drum and bass every time, the interaction of having bass and drum hit tape at the same instant is important to us.
