About Petr Novák
Prague, Czech republic (1945 - 1997) Petr Novák was a Czech (then Czechoslovakia) rock and musical singer. He rose to national fame during the late 1960s as part of the then massively popular "big beat" scene, experienced during the temporary political meltdown. He had a bunch of very succesful singles such as "Povídej", "Náhrobní kámen" and others. His first songs he released as a member of Flamengo, a band which would go to become a cult legend later without him.
