About Peru
More than one band has used the name 'Peru'. The Dutch progressive electronic band is recently reanimated on "The Return" (2018). The British indiepop band is also active. 1) PERU was a Dutch Synthesizer band, started in 1979 with Peter Kommers and Ruud van Es. They used their first names to make the name of the band. Rob Rapen also joined the band and also Jos van de Dungen was involved in this project. Beside the name PERU they also used NOVA for their more commercial work.
