About Permanent Sunday
Permanent Sunday are a four piece rock band from Vienna, Austria. Their influences range from blues to punk, rock to pop, prog to metal and many more styles along the way. They have a unique brand of catchy verses, heavy riffs and hook laden sing-along choruses. The band was formed in 2020 by Irish frontman Tony Murphy and Austrian lead guitarist Florian Pessl. Both had decided to leave their previous cover band Uncle Dave to focus on writing their own brand of rock music.
