About Pepita
Priscila Nogueira, better known as Pepita, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and dancer. She is notorious for being one of the first transsexual funkeiras in Brazil, and her work is often associated with LGBTQ + activism. Pepita started her career as a funk dancer. While performing in Rio nightclubs, the singer was presented with the song "Tô a Busca de um Homem" by a friend, and immediately launched into her musical career. Her first show was in the city of São Paulo.
