About Pepê e Neném
Pepê & Neném are a Brazilian pop music duo formed by identical twin sisters Potiara da Silva Oliveira (Pepê) and Potiguara da Silva Oliveira (Neném). They were born on July 6, 1975, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The duo gained national prominence in the late 1990s with the release of their self-titled debut album in 1999, which achieved gold certification and sold around 200,000 copies, largely driven by the success of the hit single “Mania de Você.”
