About People in Orbit
Electronic meets acoustic, chaos meets calm, and the free meets the arranged in music composed by Adam Sass. The quintet is a Malmö-based group that started in the autumn of 2020 and released their debut album Close/Away in 2023 on Prophone (Naxos Direct). In May 2025 their second album was recorded, scheduled for release in spring 2026. The Swedish magazine Orkesterjournalen wrote about the band’s live performance at the 2022 Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival:
