About Pencil Tin
Pencil Tin (1995 - 1998) was an Australian trio consisting of Bart Cummings (member of Girl of the world, The Cat's Miaow, The Shapiros and currently Bart & Friends), Bianca Lew (from The Steinbecks) and Robert Cooper (from The Sugargliders, The Earthmen and The Steinbecks). The made three releases: Poignant (7") (on Quiddity Records, 1995); A Gentle Hand To Guide You Along (Album) (on The Bus Stop Label, 1996); The Shapiros / Pencil Tin split (7") (on Library Records, 1998).
