About Pechblende
Playing together for over 5 years, Adam Bergeron, Mathieu Labrecque and Pascale Dufour formed Pechblende's first incarnation in 2001 as a grindcore band called Collapse. Founded on a strong DIY work ethic and forward thinking approach, the band was always convinced of the artistic creativity and possibilities that lie within the punk genre. Thus pushing themselves further and further, Pechblende progressively wrote music that did not fit the unrelenting grindcore assault they were known for anymore.
