PBS NewsHour (formerly 'The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer' until December 4, 2009 and 'The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour' from its inception through to 1995) is an evening television news program broadcast weeknights on PBS in the United States. Unlike most other evening newscasts in the country, each edition is an hour long.
