About Paul Gredinger
Paul Gredinger (born 1927) only composed one electronic piece in his life: his 'Formanten I-II' (1954). He then disappeared from the musical scene and built up a successful public-relations agency in Switzerland. Concerning his 'Formanten', Gredinger wrote an important article in the publication on serial music 'Die Reihe' I (Vienna, 1955) wherein he points out the close relationship between synthetic sound production and serial composition methods.
