Paul Bevoir started as a member of Mari Wilson's Wilsations in 1981. That same year he left Mari's group along with Melvyn J. to form The Jetset. Between 1983 and 1988, The Jetset recorded and released five albums for UK indie label The Dance Network. During this period, Bevoir also wrote and recorded his solo debut LP 'The Happiest Days Of Your Life', released in 1985. When The Jetset quit in 1988, Bevoir formed a new group Smalltown Parade, releasing three singles in the UK and two albums, which were released in Japan only.
