About Pat Kilroy

Pat Kilroy (born Patrick Anthony Kilroy in San Francisco on 5 July 1943; died 25 December 1967) was an American singer-songwriter whose 1966 album on Elektra Records, "Light of Day", has been called the "first ever acid folk album". Later that year, Kilroy co-founded The New Age who recorded an album, "All Around", in 1967 that was not released until 2007. In early 1964 Kilroy began making appearances on the Bay Area folk scene, initially with Debbie Green, at clubs such as the Cabale Creamery.
