There is more than one artist with the name, including: 1) LA-based visual artist and musician Gabriel Brenner; 2) A dream-pop band formed in South Wales in 2017; 3) French Polynesian-born multi-instrumentalist; 4) A British indie band from Manchester. 1) LA-based visual artist and musician Gabriel Brenner began releasing music as Pastel in the Summer of 2013. Drawing on artists such as Arca, Grouper and Julianna Barwick, he crafted an idiosncratic style that fell gracefully between folk, gospel and experimental electronic music.
