About Passion Flower
The band is formed by Ute Osadzinski (vocals, violin, flute, keyboards) and Stef Apfelstedt (keyboards, synths, programming). They debuted in 2000, with Shine in Your Own Light. Their trip-hop is generally soft, chilled, sometimes evidencing upbeat influences, sometimes darkish or nostalgic, but always energetic and poetic. The music is wealthy; strings, samples, sound effects; classic, underground and dance music influences; many perspectives are used and translated through their vision, to create an atmosphere of incomparable sophistication.
